It also uses 100% recycled rare earth elements in all magnets, and 100% recycled tin soldering, gold plating, and copper in multiple printed circuit boards. The packaging for the 14″ MacBook Pro is now entirely fiber-based, joining the 16″ MacBook Pro and bringing Apple closer to its goal to remove plastic from its packaging by 2025.
