When used for music playback, the multi-driver X-Balanced system inside uses front and rear tweeters and front woofers for an omnidirectional soundscape that better fills the space. Additional inputs allow the connection of an optional microphone or guitar, so you can let guests sing with karaoke, or play along using the SRS-XP700 as an amp. Add water-resistant construction, long battery life, and LED lighting, and the SRS-XP700 is an ideal fun solution for indoor or outdoor gatherings.

X-Balanced Speaker System
Inside the SRS-XP700 are three 2.36″ tweeters, a rear 1.96″ tweeter, and dual 6.69″ woofers.. They are made to deliver clearer and richer sound by utilizing Sony’s X-Balanced architecture, which has a noncircular diaphragm for more surface area than standard round drivers.
Music Playback Options
Primarily designed to wirelessly stream music from a Bluetooth-compatible smartphone or tablet via files or app, the SRS-XP700 can also play music from an (optional) portable hard drive or USB flash drive. Simply plug one into the Playback USB port on the rear of the speaker.
Customize Your Sound
Activate Sony’s MEGA BASS when playing music genres that need an extra punch in the low end, or use LIVE SOUND to simulate the sound of a live concert setting.
Massive Power
With up to 25 hours of playback on the full charge, the SRS-XP700 can entertain you and your guests all night long. If you forgot to charge the speaker and guests are arriving, a quick 10-minute charge will give you up to 80 minutes of playback.
Party Lights
  • Integrated multicolor LED lights on either end of the speaker provide subtle ambience or can flicker with the music.
  • Different lighting patterns can be selected via the Sony | Music Center app.
Party Connect
The SRS-XP700 can be connected with up to 100 compatible speakers to sync music and lights to support extremely large events.
Charge Your Device
The USB Type-A port can be used to siphon off some of the SRS-XP700’s power to recharge a smartphone or tablet. It’s a handy feature for giving a guest a quick recharge on their phone, or giving your music streaming device enough power to last the rest of the party.

The Sony | Music Center app gives you the ability to optimize audio settings, control music playback, select different lighting patterns, and manage connected devices.
